Take the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu
Walk the ancient stone route through the Andes and reach Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate.
The experience
A real journey to Machu Picchu
This is the classic Inca Trail: mountain passes, cloud forest, ancient ruins and four days of trekking before your arrival at Machu Picchu. You’ll camp along the route, spend the final night near the citadel, then return for a guided visit.
Know before you go: This is a strenuous trek at high altitude. Avanti strongly recommends spending two nights in Cuzco before the hike to acclimate. Ask us to include that time in your travel plans.
